Parwarish — the art of raising a good heart

Upbringing stories that give every child values to hold onto.

Parwarish is a home for gentle, emotional children's stories drawn from Sanatan, Islamic and Sikh wisdom — made for parents who want their children to grow up kind, grounded, and sure of who they are.

Our Mission

Who we are, and why Parwarish exists.

Parwarish — meaning upbringing — is a story platform built by parents who noticed something missing: children's content that is warm, animated and genuinely emotional, while staying rooted in real family values.

We believe every parent, whatever path they follow, is asking the same quiet question at bedtime: how do I raise a good, honest, kind human being? Parwarish answers through story, not sermon — and welcomes every family who is asking it.

Our Shared Value

The one belief every Parwarish story is built on

"I have my scriptures, you have yours. When I touch mine, I do it reverently — because they matter to me. When you touch yours, you do the same. That respect is what we owe our children first."
— The value every Parwarish story is built on

Common Questions

What parents ask before they start with Parwarish

Parwarish is a story platform offering emotional, animated upbringing stories for children, rooted in Sanatan, Islamic and Sikh values — built to help parents raise kind, grounded children through storytelling rather than instruction.

Most parenting experts agree that consistent, story-based moral teaching — not lectures — builds lasting values in children. Parwarish is built entirely around this idea: real upbringing wisdom from Sanatan, Islamic and Sikh traditions, delivered as short, emotional stories a child will actually remember and want to hear again.

No. Parwarish is an umbrella home for three separate story collections — Sanatan, Islamic and Sikhi — each built respectfully and specifically for that tradition.

Yes. Parwarish's story videos are published freely on YouTube, organised by tradition, with new stories added regularly.

Most moral story content is generic. Parwarish starts from real Sanatan, Islamic and Sikh teachings, then shapes them into stories a young child can actually feel and remember.

Our Story

Why Parwarish began — and what we believe about raising a child well.

A short story about a question every parent asks, and why we built an answer worth sharing.

Parwarish started with a small, familiar moment: a parent, a tired evening, and a child asking for "just one more story." In that moment, most of us reach for whatever is nearby — a cartoon, a random video, anything to fill the silence.

We wanted something better to reach for. Not a lecture about values. Not a rulebook. Just a story — warm, animated, and honest — that quietly carried the kind of wisdom our own parents and grandparents once told us at bedtime.

The word Parwarish means upbringing — in Hindi, in Urdu, in Punjabi. It is one of the few words that belongs equally to Hindu, Muslim and Sikh households alike. We chose it as our name because it captures exactly what every family, regardless of path, is quietly working toward: raising a child with a good heart.

What we believe

We don't believe one tradition needs to look like another to be worth honoring. We believe every family deserves stories that are rooted honestly in their own faith, told with real craft and real feeling.

Rooted, not generic

Each story collection is built specifically for its own tradition.

Made to be felt

Children remember what they feel, long before what they were told.

Built with respect

We never suggest one path is more correct than another.
